Once again we’ll be having our own servers!

You will soon find yourself connecting to a different server. It will be a lot of the same, except we can now have ops and set topics!

Additionally, services should be coming soon…

As everyone probably knows by now, we have hopped from our old server onto muti’s “AnalogDawn” network.

No changes will be required on your part outside of perhaps accepting the new SSL certificate, and this switch gives us additional connection points; the other linked servers. (Check your /links list.) – If our main connection point goes down, you can happily use one of those.

Kinks are in the process of being worked out (ops and all) but for now, all is well.

All should be good for non-SSL connections finally!

Let me know if anything arises.

The issues are nothing of anyone’s doing as far as I know, outside of maybe someone at the IRCd host, hehe…
The server went down for a short bit yesterday it looks like (March 21) – when it came back up, only SSL was working.

A support ticket to the IRCd host has been submitted, and we’re waiting on a response.  In the meantime, you can connect using SSL on port 6697.

For mIRC, you can use the command: /server subdomain.domain.ext +6697
For other clients, please see their respective documentation.

Stay tuned.

Was just now informed about connectivity issues; a check revealed that non-SSL connections are not working.

Looking into this now.
